the elements of a traditional Punch and Judy show, Phillip
has brought the show bang up to date. It is fast paced with lots of comedy and
audience participation. In Phillip's show Mr Punch never hits the
Policeman and when
Mr Punch does hit any of the other puppets with his stick they are refered to
as downstairs crying rather than the traditional downstairs dead!
The characters featured in the show include: PC49 (Policeman), Toby the dog,
Crocodile and of course Punch and Judy
There is just something about those big long balloons that Phillip twists and sculptures that fascinate both the young and old alike. Phillip says " Whilst I do not make as many differerent balloon sculptures as some other entertainers, I specalise in larger multi balloon creations as this sets me apart from the average balloon entertainer" I for one must say how true this is. It is a pure delight to watch Phillip as he twists five or six balloons, each about 5 feet long into a motorbike or even a Bugs Bunny look alike,.all this at such a terriffic speed and with such precision mixed with hilarious fun and comedy make for unmissable entertainment.
